'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane dampens on Premier League return
Kane achieves his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in going back to the Premier League has diminished and he is willing to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The star striker is currently two years through the four-year agreement he inked when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 games for the German side, playing a key role in them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which was the maiden important honor of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has previously stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's record Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as enthusiastic about returning home as he previously was, and would certainly think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could certainly see that," he remarked.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an straightforward conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different moments happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the record top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would react after overcoming his trophy wait, but now believes it has made him hungry for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
